Evie’s Adoption Update

Processed with VSCOcam with c1 preset

Friends! Helllllloooo!! I’ve missed you. I finally have some updating to do as far as precious little love muffin goes. But first. News to share, big news! And then, some more big news!

Some of you might have probably wondered… mmmm…. we saw all those puzzle pieces with names on them, but we haven’t actually seen the puzzle completed. Today is THE day. We have it finished in a beautiful white frame, ready to hang up in Evie’s room. She, of course, needed to take a picture with it first.

It’s getting harder and harder to keep that little silly girl still enough to snap a picture of her. As you can see, she is trying to get Minnie whom I had in my hand 🙂

Thank you from the bottom of my heart to each of you that gave of yourselves to us. In whatever way you gave, we are so so so thankful. The little baby girl I get to wake up to each morning is so blessed to have such an army of believers standing in the gap for her heart and life. She is one blessed little girl because of each of you. And Dru and I are blessed because she is ours. She has blessed us more than we could ever bless her!

The next update I have for you is the one we’ve been waiting on since we brought Evie home on May 9th ….. WE HAVE A COURT DATE! This THURSDAY, December 17th, what we’ve known in our hearts forever will become seen as true in the eyes of the law. Evangelyn Rose Birkeland will officially be a Birkeland! We are over the moon as we anticipate this day and we are daily in awe of the Lord and His provision for our family. He truly makes a way where there is no way. Please be in prayer during the days leading up to the court date. A few meetings and things need to fall into place for us to be able to finalize the adoption.

Thank you for the prayers and love! Please like my Cheers To Plan A Facebook page to the right to get updates on Evie and posts here on the blog!

Much love!
